Firefox crashes Mac after 15 minutes inactive, when I try to re-activate it

After 15 minutes of more of inactivity, when I try to re-activate Firefox, I have to re-booth my Mac because the only activity I'm allowed to do is to drag Firefox window, but I can't perform any tasks. I tried to wait until the waiting wheel stops, but even 9 hours later, the wheel still turning and the computer frozen.
