Can anyone tell me what this error is: bp-1d353816-aa69-4d39-8ccf-de4ac2170122

Firefox crashes when I open MP4s. I think it could be RAM but I fixed this issue recently and don't think this could happen again so soon.

Is a crash report ID number. This lets us look at the report that was sent to the Mozilla servers.

Product Firefox Release Channel release Version 50.1.0 Build ID 20161208153507 OS Windows 10 OS Version 10.0.14393

Signature: date_setUTCHours

No programs were flagged in this report

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Do you have more crash report IDs that start with "bp-"?

I see that you have the en-GB locale.

Do the crashes also happen with the en-US version if you test that?

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (50.1.0) in all languages and all operating systems here:

Best is probably to create a new profile for the en-US version to avoid problems with your current profile.

See "Creating a profile":

I was impatient and did a reinstall. For now everything is working ok but I predict it will happen again soon, and I'll post again.

I installed Firefox fresh after I updated to Win 10. Are there any known issues with Win 10? I also checked add-ons and removed those I thought could be the culprit but after I bought new RAM everything worked ok.

No. The other 14 reports I have have different start IDs like "11c8f007" and "d1f0e1de". This one is the biggest report - 439357b6-58e9-40f3-844a-db0b84ac3ea6.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Many Win 10 users have complained of problems. Many after a Win 10 update.

I also checked add-ons and removed those I thought could be the culprit

Next time just disable them.
