I recomend that you make use of the show password option when you are entering your credentials into Sync to make sure that you have the password entered correctly.

Thanks but I did make sure the password was entered,correctly. Honestly I've had it with Firefox sync. This happens every time I get a new device and I have to do a password reset. It never works on the new device correctly even though it does on the old.

Earlier today I was made aware of an issue whereby the login credentials were not being accepted where the email address was being entered in a different case to the one that you registered with. A fix is being made to the Sync systems very soon that should correct this behaviour.
