Is there a Sync tool for Thunderbird that will sync my entire profile?
I would like to sync my Thunderbird profile on my desktop with my laptop (like Firefox does). At present, I do it using Mozbackup, but that is is a bit cumbersome.

You don't need to use MozBackup. You could just copy the whole profile manually, which may be simpler than MozBackup. Those of us with OSX or Linux have to do it this way.
However, rather than moving gigabytes of stored messages around, many of us use the internet instead.
IMAP syncs email messages. gContactSync syncs address books. Google Calendar syncs Lightning.
Thanks for your reply Zenos. It seems like Mozbackup is nothing more than a copy of the profile, and tends to be simpler for me than searching for it's location to copy and paste.
I don't have a problem with getting new mail since I have on line access to the mail server at Cox.
I don't believe gContactSync is what I'm looking for since I don't use Google contacts. I simply want to see my Thunderbird contacts on my laptop.
As for moving stored messages, that is what I want to do since I have need to access them when on my laptop.
