Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Locate the add-on. Is there any warning on it?
there are only two extensions in firefox. one is adobe and the other is my points. both have been disabled. i would like to use the my points toolbar. how can i reinstall it? thanks.
Have you tried to enable it? Any messages from this?
Re-install the tool-bar.
there is no enable option. when i try to download, i get a message the download link has been suspended by software informer antivirus system. this only happens in firefox. in chrome it works fine.

Is that a program you installed on your system? Have you tried to disable it?
What is your anti-virus?
this is not my antivirus. i spoke with mypoints. they said they did a system update and have had problems with firefox ever since. they are trying to fix. everything works fine in chrome. looks like the problem is on their end.
