Carrier was no help, They indicated if the application won't open at all it's nothing to do with them and to contact the software provider. Meanwhile they said to check my data usage on my account website.

Hi: thanks for the reply. Here is the info you asked for.

1. ZTE Open C

2. OS 1.3.0.0 (and I do all the regular updates whenever notified); Build ID: 20140523093151

3. No error messages received, nothing to do with any websites, etc, Just when I touch the Usage icon, the screen just goes black, nothing happens, then I just hit the little round button at the bottom on the phone and close the application. When it did work before, when I touched the icon the application would open and show me my wifi and 3G usage. Worked fine since I got the phone in March up until about a month ago.

thanks for your interest. I hope it's something easy to do *other* than resetting the phone and losing all my settings and applications and having to start all over again. If that's the case, I'd rather just leave it the way it is as everything else works.

Your best bet is to update your device onto a newer version - you would lose data by upgrading to the latest stable version. Sorry.

Hi: as I mentioned, I have the very latest updated version of the OS, I always allow all the updates when I'm notified.

Hrm. Did you start on 3.1 when you received the device? The current nightly version has reverted back to 2.5 (just a number change). The build ID you provided is from over a year ago which means you are on an old build.

Thanks for your message and help. I'm not knowledgeable about "builds", all I know it that the Usage application worked fine up until about a month ago, and that I allow each and every OS update that I'm notified about. My phone tells me that i have the OS up to date. I'm not sure what more to tell you. If need be I'll just leave it the way it is as everything else works just fine on my phone.

Suddenly, without any rhyme or reason, my Usage application has started working as usual again. I check it every day, hoping -- I guess -- that it wold start working again, and today suddenly it's working. Not sure why it didn't work the past few months but I'm glad to have it back. Thanks all for your suggestions and posts.

I think your updated version is not stable .you can fix the issue by updating the software with a stable version of Firefox os

It is better to upgrade software with a stable fx is version or reroute the software back to normal 3.1

Contact your phone service center to reroot the phone back to fx 3.1
