I'm on a winders 7 boxen: 8gigs
-The download thingy, the downward arrow that opens a history of recent downloads frequently crashes firefox, Asking download box where on earth my file is doesn't work now (it did at one point.)
-Youtube is stupid slow- as in watching a kunfu B action slow motion frame by glorious frame kind of slow.
-"Canvas"(used by schools hated by many) strait up doesn't work: I can't log in, upload, or download-like at all.
-file attachments in gmail blow up firefox (as in opening, or adding them).
-It's eating up RAM faster than a hutt goes through 200000 google course meal.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
You have quite a few extensions installed that can contribute to slow response and memory leaks.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
