firefox always switches to https protocol although i have no private browsing on
upgraded to FF4 two days ago, on my MBP (OS X 10.6.7). ever since i cannot access washingtonpost.com nor nytimes.com ( for example), because FF keeps surfing in https protocol.
I have Permanent Private Browsing mode DISABLED, and i have NOT started Private Browsing within Tools ...
I will switch back to prev FF version because there are many links i cannot access anymore .
I have all the browsers installed ( am a front webdev myself) and no other gives me this annoyance. Also checked with my husbands notebook. We have exactly the same settings. He is using Windows7. And he can access the links I cannot.
So there is an issue with MBP and FF4 and protocols.
Any chance of a prompt solution?
Thanks in advance!
PS btw, the language i use on all my software is always english. but i was asked to register AND sign in (after the registration confirmation mail ) to sign in in danish or whatever scandinavian language that was ... might be you'd want us all to speak that, which would be fantastic, and i love living next to the danish border, but i also love working in english. thanks!
