Re: How to uninstall Midicair Toolbar?

Malware scans do not always pick up this sort of thing because it is software that is installed with consent and some users will find it useful.

You need to

  1. Uninstall what you can by using the Windows Control Panel.
  2. Reset the preferences that have been changed.
    • Note an extension is available to help with that
    • That it is easy to select another search engine use the Search Bar that affects the other search options on Fire fox now, so that will change the one used by the address bar.
  3. Scan with multiple up-to-date tools, and if necessary repeat the resetting of preferences.
    • Note Firefox reset is different and although it could help it does NOT deal with globally installed software and plugins.

Re: How to uninstall Midicair Toolbar?

midicair toolbar is a kind of malicious virus and it can't be removed completely by any PC security software. You have to remove the add-ons of midicair toolbar on firefox and then clean up the related registry entries.

Please note.

  • Registry editing should be undertaken only with extreme care, and preferably only after making suitable backups prior to each edit.
  • You will lose some information on using Firefox reset. You may wish to close as many open tabs as possible, also bookmark open tabs and homepages of any Firefox extensions; before using the reset feature. Please look at the article
