Firefox crashes

Firefox crashes on startup and happens in safe mode. I've confirm that I don't have Bitguard installed and do have latest Adobe Flash installed. I use Microsoft Security Essentials and have the latest version.

Re: Firefox crashes

That is a problem with Trusteer software (RapportTanzanxx.DLL).

Make sure that you have the latest updates of your Trusteer software.
You can try to contact Trusteer for support.

Try to update or uninstall and reinstall Trusteer Rapport and if that doesn't help then disable/stop the program for now.

Re: Firefox crashes

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
