Re: Firefox crashes

In previous threads, I've seen "sprotector.dll" or "sprote~1.dll" associated with some malware named SProtector. Try the tools in this article, if you haven't already managed to get rid of it: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.

Re: Firefox crashes

Hi anuswara

That is a problem with the Flash plugin: [@ npswf32_12_0_0_77.dll@0x3480bd ]

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Re: Firefox crashes

Hi anuswara, your crash report references NPSWF32_12_0_0_77.dll which is the Flash Player plugin. I'm not sure why this would instantly cause a crash on startup.

Since this thread was marked solved by the original poster, I recommend starting your own question. You can use the following link. Scroll down past the suggestions to continue with the form (I think it has 3 different screens).
