ESPN.com main page displays centered but less than 25% of its width

When I go to the main page of ESPN.com the page is displayed at less than 25% of its width. It is centered and the background is full width and the correct colors. The length of the page is correct.

The width is so small it cannot be read.

The same page in IE on the same machine displays correctly.

I have looked around at options that could be set incorrectly but did not notice anything that could do this. I have deleted all the ESPN cookies - no difference.

Thanks for any help!

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

Thanks you very much - that did the trick. I take it that this zoom setting is held on a per 'web site' basis and also does not reset across instantiations of Firefox - makes sense.

Thanks again.
