landscape mode

I use my phone in landscape mode all the time. I need an option to make Firefox for android permanent landscape mode rather than letting Android decide the orientation.

This option is available on Dolphin Browser which is my goto Browser but would definitely use Firefox if this was an added feature.

Re: landscape mode

hello haydenl3, this seems to be partially possible - try the following: enter about:config into the address bar, search for the preference named app.orientation.default & change its value to landscape.

for me it was necessary to restart the application and afterwards toggle the system's auto-rotation back and forth once for this to have effect. then the firefox setting seems to work on all webpages, but not when you tap the address-bar or within the settings - on these screens it will still follow the orientation set by android...
