Tricking ipad into downloading Firefox

I know if you travel out of the country you can download stuff you can't get in the states.

Is there anyway of tricking ipad into thinking its out of country and getting Firefox ?

Re: Tricking ipad into downloading Firefox

Mozilla only makes mobile Firefox for Android 2.2+ only and for Windows XP and newer, Mac OSX 10.6+ and Linux for desktop version.

We have no plans to release the full Firefox browser for iOS. The iOS SDK agreement requires apps to use Apple's own JavaScript engine (or none at all, like Opera Mini which downloads pre-rendered pages from Opera's servers and cannot run JavaScript code in the client). Because of this, we have no supported way to distribute Firefox's rendering and JavaScript engine to iPhone users.

There was a browser prototype experiment called Junior. The key thing is this was not using the familiar Gecko layout engine due to Apple restrictions but rather uses the same WebKit rendering engine found in Safari for the iPad. And thanks to Apples restrictions on iOS application distribution, very few of the public may get to even get try this any time soon.

I regret to inform you that there is no version of Firefox that runs on the iPad, so I'm not sure downloading the installer will do much good...

Oh well it was worth a try. Thought since I got YouTube to install while on a trip to turkey, I might get Mozilla to work the same way.

Thanks for the info !
