How do I disable the cruft which appears in the URLbar? Specifically, the trackers detected symbol, the certificate verified symbol, the bookmark this page symbol, and the question mark symbols which appear on both the URLbar and the searchbar.

Firefox for Windows just updated to v146.0. Now I seem to have an extra bar under my toolbar and address panel. How do I remove it? I can't seem to drag it in the menu customiser.

Not a question, but I am vying for your "Least Important Problem of the Day" award. Mozilla makes great products. And,

The recent new "window fades away" when closing Firefox (or upon saving a file) is weirdly annoying and unnecessary imho. Obviously not a deal breaker, but I'd prefer if the window just closed. I don't need to wistfully watch it fade away. Thanks for the chance to offer input. Why am I even writing this.

I sure hope my bookmarks don't disappear like folks I'm seeing here today.

Can one remove the green dot update notification on pinned tabs without having to create an bespoke css file? Think some sites spoof this to get you to click on them.

As I said in the subject, my sidebar moved to the right side of the screen, and now takes up over half of the entire screen. I think this can be fixed in settings, but I don't know how to do that. Can anyone help me with this problem?

It looks an update occurred but now my bookmarks Column has a white background with white type. I can't read anything there because its all the same color how do I change the background to black?

A chaque demarrage de firefox, la taille des fenetres retaurees se reduit. L'environnement est du KDE Plasma X11 sur une Debian 12. La methode est simple: Ouvrir firefox. (Mode restauration de la session precedente active) Quitter firefox. Reouvrir firefox. La fenetre se reduit a la retauration des pages.

Comment remedier a cela? J'ai deja tenter avec un nouveau profil. Le probleme persiste.

Hello, I just updated to Firefox version 146, and now the bookmarks and history in the sidebar are no longer visible because the background is yellow-green and the text is white...so, invisible!

I hope you will fix this quickly with a new update, as it's a real problem.

I have just upgraded to version 145 and the title bar has disappeared Even though I have the Title Bar option checked in the customize firefox panel. If I uncheck the title bar option and then check the title bar option, the title bar will appear, but when I close firefox and then restart firefox the title bar is gone.

I just moved to a new computer. Still using the latest version of Firefox (145.x). But of course I have a much higher rez screen. So I'm looking at many more bookmarks across the menu bar, and they are all very small. As are the tabs at the top of the window. I can not find a way to make these larger in Settings. Grok tells me to work with CSS in the profiles folder, but that doesn't seem to work. (And I bet that every time a new version came out, I'd have to move or remake that CSS file and/or folder.) Is this just the way it is on the high-rez screen, or can someone point me to a solution?

I have a chromebook with linux enabled and installed firefox according to mozilla's instruction - via the sudo get-apt command. The cursor changes from the default to a very small adwaita. I've spent hours googling this issue and everyone I've come across had used some third party repo or was trying to shove in their own custom cursor theme. Literally all I want is my regular cursor back, and I have no clue why mozilla would have a specifically set cursor for their browser instead of just having it default to os. I don't really know what I'm doing here, but I cannot begin to state how tired I am of messing with this dead-end issue.

I just set up a computer with Debian 13 'Trixie', and I downloaded and installed the latest Firefox for Linux (version 145) from Mozilla's site.

Then I noticed at first that it wasn't following my GTK theme. Then after testing a bit, I discovered it would respect only themes with names that end in "-dark". I've taken some screenshots and attached them to demonstrate the problem.

firefox-esr from Debian's repositories didn't have this problem. But also, I've got another computer that still has an older distro (Debian 11) installed, and I'm running the latest firefox 145 on that too, and it always respects my GTK theme regardless of whether its name ends in "-dark". So, perhaps this is a GTK/GTK4 problem or something?

Does anyone know about this issue, can anyone help? I would really like Firefox to respect my choice of theme regardless of whether the theme's name ends with "-dark" or not.

I am currently using Windows 11 and Firefox 145.0.2 on my desktop computer. Firefox is set as my default browser. Since the latest Firefox upgrade, the "Downsize/Minimize/Exit" toolbar does not appear upon opening and the only way I can close the program is to go to File<Exit, but I still have no way to downsize to share my screen with other applications. I sometimes have to open and close the program a couple of times before the Minimize toolbar appears. I already tried Firefox "Refresh" but the issue is still happening. </p>

Hi i accidentally adjusted the width of the sidebar too far and now i cant pull it back over. I have tried using the show sidebar button but nothing happens. is there a way to reset the width of the sidebar without having to drag it?

The scrollbar slider isn't displaying correctly. If I grab the screen, zoom in, and look very carefully, it is possible to see that the slider is a very slightly different darker shade of grey to the rest of the scrollbar, but it's almost impossible to see, so something is clearly not working properly here. The scrollbar should be highly visible as it's the most often-clicked control of the entire browser.
