I have found Wikipedia to be biased and to contain much incorrect information. I would prefer to omit results from Wikipedia and to use data from Grokipedia instead. This presents two questions: 1. Will Mozilla add a general option to add or remove search sources? And 2. will Mozilla add Grokipedia to its list of sources?

opened firefox saturday and screen was totally different than what i had. guess it updated, but not returned to my profile. have tried to open my profile and succeeded, but can't get it to come on automatically when i open firefox again. how do i open the profile i want and then keep it opened?

After updating firefox I got logged out of firefox, after logging back in no profile data is available. I lost all the saved passwords, setting, browsing history, all of it. I lost access to website's because of it. Tried copying data from 'profiles' folder but it does not work. Never had problem like this ever and I'm considering changing browser for good. It should have never happen, like wtf is this?!

Yesterday, possibly related to updating to version 148, my profile completely disappaered. My old profiles are not visible under about:profiles, but are present on disk. They can not be imported with firefox -P. How do I get my profile data back?

How do I get the full url line of where I am currently on the homepage back for the search line, or the old full browser line? Have been looking in settings and haven't located it.

About ready to leave firefox over it, and been here for years.

I keep losing my passwords in Firefox. I attempt to save a password withe the drop down menu, after checking I see that it is save but a short time later the password is no longer there! I have all the box's checked to save passwords but again they are no longer there! Any help would be most appreciated, Thank you T Wolf

Just seemingly out of the blue I started getting Firefox captive portal warnings. Most websites load normally but if it's a new site i.e. one I ahven't visited in a while I get the "you must log into this netrwork before you an access the internet" message. I am and have only and always been on my home wifi with this computer, it's a laptop but has never been out of my house. Forefox seems slow lately and I keep getting this message. Other browsers work fine by the way.

Since the 148 update, copying and pasting has been completely broken in google docs, sheets, etc. I get an error every time I try to and am forced to reload the page after which nothing has even been added to the doc. I know I am not the only one with this issue. It happens across different OS'es. On my first PC, I have this specific sidebar icon in my toolbar. When I click it, the sidebar opens with Gemini ready to go. Perfect.

But on my second PC, that specific icon is nowhere to be found. Even when I go to "Customize Toolbar," it’s not in the list of available buttons. The only thing I can use is the generic "Sidebar" button, which is annoying because it doesn't open Gemini directly, it just opens the general sidebar and I have to click again.

I provided an image, where the first icon is what I want, but only second icon is available.

Just recently when logged onto Hotcopper.com.au have been getting a message that reads "This page is slowing Firefox down. To speed up this browser, stop this page." There is a STOP button, that helps for a moment or two only. When I open the program with MS Edge, the problem does nor occur. I was going to remove the Firefox App but saw the repair option. Repairing did not stop the problem. Any suggestions? John I have a near new Acer laptop running Win 11.
