For two days I have been unable to access the internet using my default Mozilla Firefox browser. I have used Mozilla as my default browser for many years with no problems, but have had to use alternative browsers not only to access my emails on Outlook, as well as other nominal sites, but even to sign into my Mozilla account, I had to use Microsoft Edge browser. I have made no changes to my settings or internet security. Please advise. Thankyou

Just used sync in the past month with no issues.
Logged into sync today, immediately after logging in, the error message "Session Expired -- Sorry something went wrong. Please sign out from the browser window and try again." See attachment to see exact error message.
This exact error message appeared on both my PC's when I tried to sync between them. Any thoughts on what is taking place or is there a know issue with Sync from Mozilla today?

I imported bookmarks to desktop Firefox 134.0.1 (aarch64) on raspberrypios - 1.0, but the title bar only shows Import Bookmarks... and the imported bookmarks are located in Library -> All Bookmarks -> Bookmarks Toolbar/Bookmarks Menu -> Mozilla Firefox -> Imported Bookmark.

I've imported bookmarks to Firefox, however the Bookmarks bar doesn't show on a blank tab (I'll raise another forum post about this). If I manually add the Bookmarks toolbar, it permanently shows only a few Bookmarks, not the original Bookmarks that have been imported?
I imported the Bookmarks 3 times as shown on the attached screenshot, but somehow they have been stored by default, in the wrong location. The correct location would be so the Bookmarks appear in the Bookmarks toolbar.

Hi all, trying to configure autoupdate settings for my org, as we're discovering several out of date installations.
One sticking point I'm seeing is that I see conflicting documentation on the required proxy setting for background updates to work.
This page states that the correct proxy setting is to use system settings https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-background-updates-firefox-windows
Meanwhile, this page states that proxy settings must not be configured. https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/toolkit/mozapps/update/docs/BackgroundUpdates.html
Which one is authoritative?
as an aside, some of the required prefs cited in the second document don't appear in about:config on the current version. I do see app.update.background.allowUpdatesForUnelevatedInstallations and app.update.auto.migrated which I'm assuming for the moment are the correct prefs, but can that be confirmed?

Hello,
I can open up my posteo.de account, and I can see all of my emails. However it is not possible to open up and view an Email, a double click has no longer any effect. I re-installed firefox, this had no effect on my problem. I then completley deinstalled my MX Linux and installed KDE neon. A new firefox installation didn't solve the problem. Just to check, I installed Brave and I can open my Emails without any proble,- I would be greatful for any help!

I have been using Firefox ON this desktop since Feb. 13, 2019 But used Firefox way before that on other desktops. I just saved my profile from one to another and in 2019 I got a new computer again and I never have cleaned it up. I did searches on how too but nothing on how to get rid of passwords and user names logins on websites I no longer used except for one at a time, that will take me weeks, months to clean Firefox up, and how to clean up bookmarks the same, and so on. Today I saved a copy of my profile folder and was shocked to see it is almost 2GB. It explains why some days Firefox doesn't load properly, and why getting stuff done on here is more than a feature, it is bad chore I really need to tackle this and hope you guys can help me out on getting this mess cleaned up. Thanks for your time and support.

Viewing my online banking register there is an option to printout a selected transaction. The print dialog comes up, the intended page flashes for a split second, and disappears. Description:
In Firefox version 135.0.1, when navigating to a website by clicking a bookmark or by pasting a URL (without first activating an Asian language input method in the address bar), Asian language input methods are inactive within webpage text fields. Only English characters can be entered. Switching languages or input methods has no effect.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Firefox 135.0.1. Navigate to a website by clicking a bookmark or by pasting a URL into the address bar (do not activate an Asian language input method in the address bar before navigating). Click on a text field within the webpage. Attempt to activate an Asian language input method.
Expected Result:
The Asian language input method should activate, allowing the user to enter characters in the selected language.
Actual Result:
The Asian language input method remains inactive. Only English characters can be entered.
Workaround:
Clicking on the address bar and activating an Asian language input method there enables the input method to function correctly in webpage text fields afterward. This workaround persists for all webpages within the same Firefox window. Alternatively, if the user first types an URL into the address bar, while using an asian language input method, the problem does not occur.
Environment:
Browser: Firefox 135.0.1 Operating System: Windows 11 Input Methods: Microsoft Chinese Input and Microsoft Japanese Input (both exhibit the same issue) Websites: Google, Bing, Yahoo and other websites.
Additional Information:
This issue does not occur in Microsoft Edge.

I am experiencing a flickering/highlighting effect on various webpages when using Firefox on some of my computers (a Microsoft Surface and Asus Laptop, but not my work desktop). Attached photos show an example from Gmail, where the one photo shows it open in Microsoft Edge (no flicker/highlighting effect) and the other photo shows it in Firefox.
When my cursor moves it causes the greyed out portions to jump to other areas. I also see this in places like the toolbar, where the rounded edges of bookmarks are now sometimes a grey square, similar to the greyed out emails in the photo.
I have restarted and reinstalled Firefox with no changes. Any idea what is causing this?
its not letting me download Firefox says no permission dam windows 11 trap tape junk.
