Google Images reverse search via drag and drop does not work

more options

Hi. I use Google reverse image search pretty often. When I have to apply search to image saved to my local storage, I go to images.google.com, drag image file from my Windows 10 desktop and drop it onto the Google search field. Unfortunately, it stopped working reliably few months ago. Sometimes it works, but most of times not.

I'm sure it is a Firefox bug since I tried to disable all of my extensions, delete cookies and even made clean Firefox installation in Windows Sandbox. Results were always the same. In Microsoft Edge, everything works fine.

Could somebody fix that please? After YouTube's inability to remember my theme selection (I was used to bright theme, but I had to stick with default dark one), this is another annoying issue I have on Google sites.

Thanks.

New version 95.0 is out and the issue still persists. :-(

It stopped working.... Do you get an error message or does nothing happen when you drop an image?

I always start on the following page for that kind of search, and it worked for me just now:

https://images.google.com/

It also worked when I deleted the query on the results page (clicked x for the image name) and dragged another image onto the results page.

In case it matters, I was not logged in, and I'm not blocking any Google stuff except analytics.

Unfortunately, none from the suggested advices worked for me.

I get infinite loading most of time. And when I wait longer, I get "408. That’s an error. Your client has taken too long to issue its request. That’s all we know."
