Keep esr version from reloading after going to back version to correct lastpass triangle glitch

more options

I went thru the song and dance to back down to Oct ver Firefox and Lastpass which solved the triangle problem. This morning the damn thing is back and I discovered ESR 52.7.3 is loaded. How did it come back? I want it gone until FF fixes the LastPass problem.

Chosen solution

Your browser identified itself as running on Windows XP. Is that correct? Firefox 52 ESR is the latest and probably the last version for Windows XP, and there are no major differences between 52.0esr and 52.7.3esr (just selected critical fixes). And we are unlikely to get any fixes other than security patches for the rest of the series; that's the idea behind an extended support release.

What version were you using before? There is an Update History button in the first table on the Troubleshooting Information page. You can open that using:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" Help > Troubleshooting Information
  • (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
  • type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
