How to get rid of a popup offering to remember my password appearing at the upper left corner?
Yes, this popup is bugging me to no end! It appears each time I fill in a password anywhere! It says more or less: "Would you like me to remember this password?". first I didn't know what program did this, but today I realize it's Mozilla Firefox. Why so many (and many undesirable too) popups want to "help" when indeed all they do is irritate the person, and not even identify the program. This is a travesty of the worst kind! Don't you think?
If anyone knows how to get rid of this forever, please let me know? Thanks ever so much!!! Adelaa
Chosen solution
If you want to just disable this for a specific domain, you can click the dropdown arrow and click "never for this site". Otherwise, you can go to the security section of the firefox preferences (enter "about:preferences#security" in the location bar) and uncheck the "remember passwords for sites" option.
