Just noticed that I have 2 folders named Sent. One of them is the Trash folder, which has a garbage can icon next to the word "Sent". When I click on properties of the folder it shows the name as Sent and the Location as mailbox://nobody@Local Folders/Trash. I clicked on Repair Folder and that didn't alter the name of the folder. The name "Sent" is read only.

When you move your mouse to the top of the screen in F11 mode, the searchbar / tabs pop up. This is highly irritating behavior, since if I'm in F11, I specifically do not want to see them. I would like to disable this behaviour somehow, the few userChrome.css solutions that came up in googling either didn't do what I wanted or didn't do anything at all.

After 146 self installed, all the pages that used to auto translate that I had set up in earlier versions of FF, no longer auto translate. I have to manually go and select the languages every time - because FF will forget the settings after I close it down.

I hope you can get fix it eventually.

Hi, After the latest update, I experienced unusual Firefox behavior. When I turn off PC Firefox signs me out from all sites and when I open them it also requires me to accept cookies again (on any site, even when I visited it in the previous session). I thought that the update accidentally turned on the option to delete cookies after closing Firefox, but I still have this option unchecked in settings. I can also still se all my previous cookies in settings. Passwords are also still saved in Firefox password manager. The PC is new (3 months) so I don't expect it to have memory problems.

Should I go back to the older version of Firefox? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

System: Windows 11 Pro 25H2, Firefox 146.0 (20251205151434), I don't use any Add-ons

When using a pen to write in windows Firefox doesn't detect it and a text box doesn't appear. I've tested with chrome, as well as several other applications and they all work fine. I've also tried reinstalling firefox, as well as disabling all addons. Running latest version of windows 11 and firefox. The screenshot that I've included is what it should look like in Chrome.

When I access a specific website the .css files hosted at http://cdn.ct-static.com/ don't load. The Network Tool console indicates that they time out. I have been told this is usually a network setup issue however if I use the MS edge browser the site loads. How do I troubleshoot this?

Just yesterday I had everything working fine, and today out of nowhere any time I close my browser trough X it resets back to default page and all my pinned browsers or unpinned just disappear.. It works with exiting trought shortcut or meniu, but it little annoying, I tried solutions provided in the treads but is there no way to revert back to just using X for exiting and have your previously closed tabs saved and restored upon opening app again?

There was no updates installed or any other changes made to my pc today. So it is very strange why out of the blue its like this right now.

I tried: 1. Troubleshoot mode (did not work) 2.I tried exiting trought shortcut/meniu exit (worked but not prefered solution as it will be very easly forgotten for split second and all tabs open will reset) 3. Tried unchecking reseting firefox and checking the box again (did not work)

Lost at this stage as I really loved using Firefox.

I’m suddenly unable to open Mozilla Firefox at all on my Windows 11 Pro (version 25H2) Surface Laptop. The browser never launches - every attempt immediately crashes and opens the Firefox Crash Reporter.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox (and removing the old application files, though the original Firefox program folder has 13 .tmp files inside a “tobedeleted” folder that I can’t delete), but the issue persists. When I try to install or uninstall Firefox, I get the same behavior: Firefox never opens, and I end up with multiple instances of the Crash Reporter popping up instantly.

Tried renaming firefox.exe as well to no avail. Chrome and Edge are working fine.

New sites online (foxnews.com, newsmax.com and others) will not load comments. Had to remove shield and try several things. Still a problem. Everything before 146.0 worked. I'm sorry I did the upgrade as all this takes too much time.

I have two audio outputs I'm trying to use. I want my main output (device A) to stay as the default, but have Firefox play out of the other (device B). There is no option within the browser's settings to change the output device, so I am controlling them through Windows' Volume Mixer. If I set device B as the system default, it works, and it allows me to change Firefox to play from any output. However, if anything else is set as the system default and I set Firefox to play from device B, it doesn't work. It seems like it ignores only specifically that one device, and only when it is set at an app-specific level. It works on all my other outputs no matter which is the default. Even if I have device B as the system default, then at the app-specific level, set FF to any other device, then select device B, it ignores this and continues to play out of whatever device it played from last. The ONLY way I can get Firefox to play audio from device B is with device B as the system default. It's already disappointing that I can't control this directly from FF settings, but the fact that it's also ignoring my OS settings is really frustrating. I've already contacted Windows support, and they say the problem is with Firefox since all my audio devices are working fine. If anyone can tell me a way to just manage this setting properly in Firefox, some way to get Firefox to recognize the device, or some way to allow my windows settings to take priority over whatever FF is trying to do, that would be greatly appreciated. Why does not FF recognize that my OS is windows 11, not incorrectly windows 8? This prevents me from updating to latest FF browser versions newer than 115.37 to 128 and higher. Now, with the popularity of AI, my bank no longer supports FF version 115.37 or lower browsers. Might it be FF is not seeing the correct IP address for windows 11 OS? However, I see nowhere on my FF account to let me or FF correct this error. If this cannot be corrected, this I (and thousands of other users) will have to abandon FF for other more up to date browsers because it looks like google, ms and apple are herding their clients to stop recognizing other browsers, which do not support AI protocols.

I use Norton Password Manager. I use Firefox most of the time as my main browser. I added the Firefox extension for Norton Password Manager when I got my new laptop, but it never does anything but hang when I try to utilize it. Today I finally turned off the extension and just ran the Password Manager as a new tab on the browser and had no problem with it running. However, it doesn't give me full use of the PM. (It does at least give me my passwords and user names, which the extension wasn't doing.) I keep notes with some of my passwords that are important to me. Using the PM on Firefox on this new laptop, I've found that none of the notes show up in the windows. Is there something I haven't turned off or on that's causing the problem I'm having? I use the PM on my iphone as well and have had no troubles with it. Thanks for any help. Sally 12/14/2025
