I've just tried turning on the free VPN, but websites like Imgur are still detecting that my connection is from the UK and are blocking my access. I understand this shouldn't happen, and doesn't happen with other VPNs.

I'm signed in, firefox updated telling me all about the beta, I can turn on the VPN, however the VPN will not connect to any website I attempt to go to.

It's a feature I really want to use, and started using my firefox account for it. Do you have any recommendations?

What is the story on the VPN, a few weeks ago the previous versions new features banner said you have a new VPN option, my Firefox browser did not show the VPN button, today got a new update to 151.0 with a NEW whats new banner promoting the VPN option and I STILL do not get the VPN button. I checked customize toolbar and the VPN button is not there either.

WHY are you showing this as available when it is not ?

I am currently testing the new VPN feature in Firefox. I Is noticed that Firefox always starts with this integrated VPN being off. I searched but I didn't find any way to have it always on when launching VPN. Is that possible?

I've now got 2 VPNs. One's called Proxy VeePN (that's how it spells it!) and the other one's your new one.

Proxy VeePN lets me use Pandora Music. Your one doesn't. Pandora can tell I'm in England on your one, it can't with Proxy VeePN (it thinks I'm in Switzerland, pretty sure.)

Why doesn't your one work with Pandora? I haven't tried it with anything else yet but then I really only use a VPN for Pandora Music anyway. Sometimes there's a couple of American games I play, but mainly Pandora. Why is it Proxy VeePN works with Pandora and yours doesn't?

Chris, Windows 10 user cos I can't afford to buy a new computer that works with Windows 11 (I know there's a registry hack but I don't think this one's fast enough anyway, was designed for XP and tends to die a death with 10, let alone 11! Too slow. The computer, not its owner!)

I'm using firefox ver150, but there is no VPN icon visible in the top right. I keep getting notifications thats it availbale when i open Firefox, but no icon to see anywhere. is it not available in Australia yet?

I have tried the new free browser VPN however it does not load pages if I am using a custom DNS (Quad9) and have DNS over HTTPS enabled. Is this expected behaviour and just a limitation of the VPN?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Auto updated to firefox 150 yesterday. What's new screen announced the rollout of the free in browser vpn had reached us (in Canada). Clicked the link to set up, went to screen to follow instructions. There's no vpn icon in the firefox menu bar, no matter what I do. (And I have done everything obvious.) Was the VPN not in the actual update I received or is this some bug/glitch? Thanks.

The Firefox installed on my Compaq CQ58 laptop automatically updated to version 150. I'm told by Firefox that there should be a button in the top right of the screen to activate the new free Firefox VPN tool. The button is simply not there ! How do I start the free VPN without the button ? I am located in France.

I have a paid VPN account with Mozilla which I use on all my devices. Will this newly introduced free version work on all of my other devices while using other apps or is this only for Firefox ?

In your information about built in VPN you state "To use VPN, you need to sign in with a Mozilla account. If you’re eligible, you’ll see a prompt in the Firefox toolbar inviting you to set up the feature."

I have a Firefox account and I live in Canada, but it doesn't explain what other eligibility criteria is required or why I'm not seeing the VPN setup prompt. I understand this is an experimental update that is still being selectively rolled out.

I am very interested in this feature and would simple like to know why it's not showing up for me after updating to v150. Do I need to sign out and then sign back in to activate it?

Nach dem letzten Update auf Version 150.0 wurde ich auf den integrierten VPN-Support hingewiesen. Eine Aktivierung ist nicht nöglich, da ich die Aufforderung zur Aktivierung nicht finde. Gehöre ich noch nicht zu denAuserwählten oder verstehe ich etwas falsch?
