I will stop using Firefox.

It is the end for me with Firefox, reason Sync and Bookmarks.

No matter what I do, every time I delete a bookmark, it instantly pops up back, duplicate bookmarks everywhere, delete them and they magically pop up again.

I researched the internet for months with no solution, I tried every solution that showed up in search results, nothing resolved the issue.

I even disabled sync, and yet the deleted bookmarks pop up again, I deleted ALL my bookmarks and like magic they are back.

So, after so many years I decided to find another browser that will not give me that much headache...

Recently switched from Chrome to FF on macOS. Running latest Sequoia 15.3.2, Firefox 136.0.2 (aarch64) on a Macbook Air M4.

Problem: When watching a video eg YouTube but including other HTML video, on Firefox where macOS is globally muted and scrubbing through the timeline using the arrow keys, or starting a video mid-way, the audio briefly cuts in (less than a second) and quickly mutes again. I was surprised by this as I expected with macOS globally muted, no application would be able to make any sound.

This behaviour is limited to Firefox and persists with all extensions disabled. macOS is stock with Sound output set to the built-in Macbook Air speakers. No other sound drivers e.g. Soundsource or a USB audio interface have been installed. The laptop itself is brand new and stock.

Can anyone explain why this might be happening?

very frustrated, and pissed at how programmers always screw things up that are working just fine by upgrading crap. Now, I have suddenly had all of my addons quit working, was forced to update my firefox. Nothing changed, and it still shows that I am using version 105, instead of the all-new, better and fancier, singing and dancing crap that is being forced upon me.

I have a windows 10 operating system on an Hp computer. My bank website usBank.com can't be accessed. I keep getting this message: You don't have permission to access "http://onlinebanking.usbank.com/auth/login/" on this server. I have Firefox version 136.0.2. I think it was quite recently updated. The right click menu is broken. The choice list is much longer, and the choices "open link in new tab" and "copy link" (ones I tried) do not work. This only started happening this morning. Right click works fine in Chrome. I have had three bad experiences with Firefox. They center around security pages on banking pages and other websites that require login. 1) Pinterest asks "can we confirm your email address" I say yes, and it never sends me a message to my email. Maybe there is another are of the UI that that page is not displaying for me. 2) A+ Federal credit union in Texas has a drop down to select the year's bank statements you want to see, I select the year and the list of statements does not appear below. When I go to Edge I can see the list. 3) I can't remember the other one just now.

QUESTION: how do I communicate to your team about the problem on the bank's webpage if you can't access it to see what the HTML is doing? Rick.

When I send an article using the blue plus button and choose gmail my display name is my wife's rather than my own. This doesn't happen if I use Chrome. Since I prefer Firefox I would like to know how to fix this.

Firefox 136.0.2 (20250317120031) Update Issue..

Since this update I have been unable to access my gmail account. I am logged in, though I get the window (screenshot attached), and it hangs! I can access my gmail via a private window, though not the normal window??

I'm also unable to get into my Facebook account. As I login, it then goes to the window, which I am assuming should be the window showing the two-factor authentication, though all I get is the information of what the window is Quote: This helps us combat harmful conduct, detect and prevent spam, and maintain the integrity of our products. I have no problems typing in a textbox on most websites, but for some time now, when I type comments on YouTube, the box alternates between working and freezing about every 7 seconds. It will work fine for 7 seconds. Then freeze for 7 seconds, then back to working again.

Any idea what the problem is?

I have came to ask if anyone else has had problems with downloading a mod off of nexusmods.com and if there is a solution I have been having to switch to google chrome which I'd rather not because its so resource intensive on the computer

Recently, almost overnight I am struggling to get any websites to load and have to use another browser for this. Is there any fix you can help with? Websites work in safari but not firefox.

I use google meet at work. Up until recently, things were working ok. Starting a few weeks ago (there were updates both to MacOS and Firefox), when I was in a meeting, the other side couldn't hear me even though meet said that my microphone wasn't muted. I then switched the meeting to Safari, and had no problems. I also noticed that when the remote party did a presentation, it did not show up when running on Firefox, but switching to Safari it worked. This is clearly a bug (or a miscoordination between Firefox and MacOS). Has anyone else encountered this? I'm running on a M4 MacBook running MacOS 15.3.2 and Firefox 136.0.1

This does not work anymore and I get an edit drop down with copy, paste etc It works on Chrome and Safari. I checked the config for "browser.fixup.alternate.suffix" and it is set to .com.

There seems to be an issue loading certain pages since the new update to v 136.01 (64 bit). I am not technical so wouldn't be able to tell you what sort of page I am looking at. However, the following "dashboard" doesn't seem to load since the recent update:
