using (file, edit, view) type page and would like to change the bookmarks dropdown menu i would like to get rid of: Bookmark current tab, seach bookmarks, bookmark all tabs and the separators i don't use tabs, i just open new windows if i can't delete them, would like to be able to move them to the bottom thank you

How can I disable the sidebar opening up to my history every time I open a new window? I want to completely disable the sidebar from appearing every time a new window is opened.

Since the recent update I'm having problems with rows I can pin sites on to. Before there were 3 rows now only 1. How do I increase the number of rows to 3. Other articles talk about a gear on the right hand side but this no longer appears. Can someone please give me an easy step by step way to do this.

Hi. The bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar are 3 different sizes; how can I adjust their size to make them all smaller so I can see more of the ones I use most please?

Update - please ignore, I was just being a bit dumb; have shortened the bookmark names - ta-dah!!

After latest update 136.0, a TB icon showed up in the 'system tray'. I'd like to hide it, I have no use for it. Browsing the settings including the advanced preferences yields nothing useful.

I have been breaking my head over this for about a week. After the last update that was installed, now my tab width is smaller than the minimum width I have set them to. However, this only happens with active tabs from pages that have an embedded video. At first I thought this was just a thing with YouTube, but it seems it also happens with other video sites. I guess it may be related to whenever the playback button displays in the tab title and it detects there is video content.

I would like to know how to fix this behavior so that my tabs are no longer shortened beyond the minimum width setting.

I was just wondering, if its possible to either hide or change the position if the star/bookmark this tab button? I use the button a lot, and it would benefit me greatly, if i could simply move it to the other side of the search bar

Why is this font so small, I have tried everything so much so that I have the about.config on my bookmark tool bar, I have tried the extensions that do not work, zoom makes everything too big, increase the font on my desk top. When I go into the about.config ....To increase the font size in the Firefox address bar, you can modify the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx setting in about:config or edit the userChrome.css file to apply custom CSS rules none of this works. as you can se from the picture the font is SUPER TINY!!! I have changed the setting on my computer for the desktop also and nothing.

After the most recent update I have noticed that my shortcut icons are a lot smaller than they were. How can I make them larger because I do not remember what I did.

Hi everyone!

Since last update (136?) when I open a page with a video in a new tab, the width of this tab is very small! Almost half my current tab.

(I don't have another example but does this have anything to do with any "media" on a page?)

I have the width set to 152 for years...

When I play a video, the current tab is reduced. Pause= normal tab. Play= small tab. Pause= normal tab...

"browser.tabs.tabMinWidth should have been adhered to."

I just completely reinstalled Firefox: still the same.

What can I do, please?

With the updated version of Firefox (136.0.1), the menu items that were located at the top in the menu section used for modifying documents no longer are visible. How can I get those back in place?

how do I change weather widget position to left side of Firefox homepage? It was always on the left side and I ran an update this morning and now it is on the right.

I am trying to display my list of bookmarks which was in the previous version of Firefox. The Other Bookmarks option contains none of the bookmarks that I regularly want to use

I just noticed this today when my browser updated to 136.0.1 (64-bit).

In the Picture attached you can see the tab width changing when playing any audio that brings up whatever that audio symbol is officially called. This also happens when you mute a tab. When unmuting a tab or stopping audio the tab goes back to the regular size.

Is there any setting in the about:config that could stop the resizing of the tab or any setting at all to not have this happen?

Additional info: I have set browser.tabs.tabMinWidth to 140 in about:config. This setting has been this way for years and those tabs with the audio never resized until today.

I opened the Bookmark Manager because I wanted to change some tags. After I made the changes, and deleted the websites from the old tags, I wasn't able to delete them. In r/mozilla it was suggested that I Verify Integrity. Is there something I'm supposed to do after I run that? I was still unable to delete tags. The home page recently changed so all the shortcuts are smaller. One of mine is for a site with an 8-letter name and this won't display properly and becomes "[first letters]...". It's really ugly, so is there any way I can restore larger icons?

Firefox 136.0. Previously: 1) No search engine sign in urlbar (left side). 2) When I pressed "en." in urlbar, it supported one-time go to Wikipedia search. For this I needed to press down arrow one time. Alternatively, with up arrow, I could move to any other search engine from the configured list. Now: 1) Search engine is present in urlbar for any entering into it. 2) To switch I have to press another selection (as suggested Wikipedia) with mouse, either to left or to down (where suggested) of the urlbar.

I want to return the old style with selection that works with keyboard.
