I get the message, An Error was encountered, The URI you submitted has disallowed characters, when I am trying to download my phone drivers.

I have a new Pantech smart phone (new to me, new in box, old phone version), anyway, when you connect to the pc you are supposed to be able to load drivers and I cannot. I was told to download the PC suite from Pantech. com, on to my pc then plug in my phone. When I try to down load the info from the internet to my pc I get the error message. "An error was encountered, The URL you submitted has disallowed characters." When I contacted Pantech support they told me to use another browser, not computer smart to do all this stuff. Anything I can do with firefox to allow this download?
