can't click a link in gmail webmail, and get to it

I have FF 3.6.16 on a pc w/xp, & a laptop w/W7 Basic. When I click a link (like to unsubscribe) in a web based gmail email it opens a new window, that is blank. This happens ONLY in FF, not IE. It also only happens in gmail, NOT yahoo. The URL that it goes to is ALWAYS https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&view=bsp&ver=ohhl4rw8mbn4 And it is always a blank.
