saving jpeg pics to file???

Firefox won't save photos as jpegs, rather it saves as firefox docs

When I right click a photo and choose "save as image as", Firefox saves the image as a Firefox document, not a jpeg as it used to.

I can, however, save the photo as a jpeg if I right click and go to page sourse and click media save as.....which becomes burdensome if saving many photos.

Any ideas how to make Firefox save photos as jpeg files by default?
