Firefox working with CO Peak website to upload and read documents

jbr besvarat
D Wiley

Hi, I am using Firefox version 150.0.3 (64 bit). It says it is up to date and I'm on Windows 11and it is fully updated. I use the Colorado Peak website but can not upload documents to them or read my mail from them. I have to go to another browser to do that.

I have used Firefox as my default browser for over 20 years I don't want to give it up or use another browser even to do just a few things once in a while. Peak tech support says they have communicated with Firefox but gotten no response. Help!!

Could you help posting some addresses that don't work for you? I can only assume it'd all be under https://peak.my.site.com/peak/s/peak-landing-page but wanted to make sure they don't use any further services external to just that site.

I'll look for webcompat reports in the meantime if there's anything tracked. Thanks.

The easiest way to report actual broken pages is via How do I report a broken site in Firefox desktop?

I was unable to find any public reports for either *.site.com or *.colorado.gov — so there's no known issue on compatibility side of things — however this government site being provided by Salesforce you can follow their general support and known issue with workarounds listed:

https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=000381681&type=1 https://help.salesforce.com/s/issues#q=firefox

They basically admit they're doing something that's blocked as third-party content and ask you to relax your privacy settings. You can try disabling some of the protections to see if the site works better.

Please point them either to this message, the general https://webcompat.com/ site, or have them file a bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Web%20Compatibility&component=Site%20Reports — any closer info would be very welcome — so if they can provide links to any public reports filed, I'll check they're seen by the right people. Thanks.
