everytime firefox updates itself, it deletes all my bookmarks and homepage settings
i am sick and friggin tired of losing ALL of my damned log ins, bookmarks, homepage and settings with every friggin update your damned browser does to me!!! i am really getting sick of this crap!!! why te hell is it doing this everytime there is a software update?!?!?!?

Are you letting the browser update itself, or from a pop-up?
Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar.
How many profiles are listed?
How many should be there?
Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.
Let’s do a full clean re-install;
Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers. They are;
Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.
If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.

Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Do Not remove any profile folders.
