HTML signature making emails I send go to spam

Hello,

I've had to design an email signature for a client who uses Thunderbird as their email client. I do not have prior experience with Thunderbird. I should also mention that my knowledge of HTML is basic at best – I cannot code.

I designed the email signature in the "compose email" window, saved it as an HTML file, and pasted the HTML in the email signature field. One image hosted remotely. The signature displays correctly when an email is being composed or sent.

However, any email sent using this signature ends up in the spam folder of the recipient. I have tried googling this and haven't found a solution. Please help me fix it so that the emails don't go to spam.

Thanks!
