How do I get Firefox Home Page to honor my dark theme preferences with a plug-in like Dark Reader?

I am using Arch Linux with i3-wm for my window manager. I installed Dark Reader plugin for Firefox. While it can make most webpages go dark, many pages generated by Mozilla or Firefox staunchly ignore the plug-in and continue to blaze as white as rice on a paper plate in a snow storm. I don't think it is a bug per se; I suspect it is a habit of Mozilla's webpage coders to force the color. Either way, can you work on this?

Extensions can't modify about protocol pages. You would have to use code in userContent.css.
