Changes were made to the add-on framework to make Firefox more secure, but many add-ons that the independent developers do not wish to continue to support have replacements or equivalents at our add-ons sites.

From the same site, you can download themes to customise the toolbar background.

point me to one addon that would help me open my tab in my second screen by right clicking, or to make my icons and bar small and "thin" like australis... also show me an addon in the "new shiny graveyard" that is the addons page now.

Sorry for being this engative, i am not sure if this is the same customer experience for other people, probably not, but honestly? as a user of firefox since the VERY BEGINING i can tell you i am more than upset. And i sincerily think is jsutified.

Show me an addon that will allow me to customize my "new tab" window the way i want it (without the mess that is the new one, you cant even customize backgrounds !!).

You can also get the Menu Bar and Toolbar back be right clicking in a empty spot at top of browser and tick the options you want.

Firefox 56 hasn't received any updates since version 56.0.2 on October 26, 2017. (Release Notes)

I don't understand what you mean by "peeks"... Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? In its Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

• "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
• Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Any improvement?

OK thank you very much for your information, let me install 58 as a secondary browser for a few days, i work a lot but i will give it serious time and attention to if i can really customize my Firefox the way is meant for me.

Sorry if i went trough someone well... Extremely annoying, the truth is that 70% of what you answered up there is not on point on what i was requesting to start with.

• Bulleted list itemFor instance "i need to right click twice over a picture and save it to a pre-selected folder"... so is kind of insulting to ask me to use "save as"

• Bulleted list itemalso if you have 2 intances of firefox opened in 2 o 3 monitor only the Addon"Window Master" does it the right way... i dont expect you to understand if you never used it yourself;

• Bulleted list itemto add one more, i dont 100% understand what you thought i said about toold bar?, what i meant is that my old skin made the "navigation bar" thin and kind of transparent... you can indeed customize that with well... the appearance button, but is not the same.

About firefox not "working correctly" where i used the work "peek" i meant that lets say i go to download something, my internet is 8 Mb download, so i normally get 400-700 Kbps downloads, but then in firefox it starts going down FAST and gets to 0 then well... the browser stops working, i need to restart the connection. I wondered openly if this was something to do with 56 having some sort of problem, because when i use Opera, Vivaldi Chrome or Slimjet everything works just fine... as i was writting this i had to copy it to notepad then disconnect and reconnect again to paste it.

So again thank you for your answer, 80 is out of point, but i apreciate it. For instance when i mean "google and tineye reverse image" i meant an script that i had in my right clik menu using "menu wizard" that opened 6 tabs for the same image... so those where some amazing personalized things that i enjoy.

Let me get on it a few days reading how to customize the interface etc and i will come back here to tell you about it. Cheers.

Also... i am doing this research so you know because i really love FIREFOX, its been my main Browser for years, today honestly having the correct browsing experience is key for having a balanced life... i know is laughable somehow, but in truth our world is changing and moving a Browser experience is comparable to coming back to your room one day and not being able to open your drawers in the way you been doing for 10 years !!!.

So please let me read every single one of those links above to see if i can really make my 56. addon experience somehow the same in .58. I am very excited as a matter of fact. ill be back with a real answer.

Hi, Glad will look at things. There is a way to do everything if ask or look as I understand it Firefox can be customised in 265,252,859,191,742,656,903,069,040,640,000 permutations. Is just a matter of making a list as sentences are really hard to work with on here. There is somethings that just will not work but again others will or a new way will.

Am not figuring out your Double Click issue for images as I just have to hover and right click and save as. But am sure it can be figured out.
