Undue the last update. I have a plugin called Signature that no longer works. This plugin took years of my entered data to have a smooth text input system.
The most recent update disabled a plugin called Signature. I use this plugin daily at work to quickly enter data. If I could I would like to roll back to the previous edition of firefox to save my data and to use until there is an update of the plugin. Otherwise I'm screwed. Years of data thrown away.

This article should help. The best option is probably the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) version mentioned in that article. The current ESR version supports legacy extensions and will get security fixes until mid 2018

I installed the ESR version and it did not solve the problem.
Not sure why but it worked after my second restart.
