Firefox no longer can load Google Tasks in Gmail Tab

When trying to view Google Tasks within the GMail tab, I get a "Loading" message and a partial tasks listing in the lower right corner. I first noticed this today, it had been working with Fx 57 - and I'm wondering if Google has changed something to make it incompatible. I've also tried this in the current Nightly and have disabled all my extensions - same issue. I did notice someone else mentioned a problem but his problem was related to a pop-up blocker. In my case, I've double checked to make sure that isn't enabled.

Has anyone else noticed this? I'm running Fedora Linux.

From the attachment, you can see that "Loading" just appears and never goes away, a limited task box opens in the lower right hand corner, but you can't expand it or scroll. The only thing you can do with it is close it.
