If a Firefox window is open a 1password address will not open, only when I quit Firefox and use a 1Password username and password does firefox open the required

I keep Firefox up to date. However it would be nice to use a 1password logon address when a Firefox window is open and just opens another tab. Cheers Stan

Hi mountfordp , I understand that you are asking is why when you Firefox window the 1Password address does not open in another tab?

I found this that it was removed and recommended to update after version 40 of Firefox: https://support.1password.com/v3-extension-firefox/

However for the tab not opening up I do not know if this is Firefox or the 1Password.

In the past a new profile has been recommended be be created in Firefox with the most recent version of 1Password. Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles try a new profile first and see if the new tab will open up correctly.
