What if you disable that Double-click Image Downloader extension you have installed - is that arrow gone?

I just installed FireFox 39 for the third time. Every time I install it, a box with a plain down air (see image) pops up when my pointer is over a downloadable graphic element, such as the Google logo when I'm in Google. Over friends' avatar images when I'm in Facebook. The arrow stays displayed for several seconds before disappearing. It's called "download_on.png" ↓ (ALSO: in the Task Manager it had a resource of "jetpack")

Someone else asked about that Sunday: How to disable auto overlay image download arrow app in FF39..

I wonder whether it is a new feature of the extension? According to its page on the Add-ons site, the overlaid arrow should be optional so if you liked the extension otherwise, you could research how to turn off that option.
