Can the address bar drop down list be sorted from a to z ?

Sorting from A to Z would make it simple to find a site that you have been to in the past. I realy don't care for the the current sort order. It's always changing and makes it hard to find anything. Like " I know it started with S " so scroll down to the S's and there it is instead off " I know it was the 5th one in the list, now where did it go".

Hi markgus, If you have History, Bookmarks and open tabs selected to show up in the url bar, then the rank/position will change, but they do show up by ranked best match (I think?)

What I can suggest is searching through Recent History in the History or Bookmarks menu, or searching in the Bookmarks toolbar. In the later the position does not change, but the former may change.
