Download Notification keeps popping up

Few days ago I downloaded something, but canceled it from the notification. Now a notification with the headline "Downloads" and the file name below keeps popping up ever… (lexoni më tepër)

Few days ago I downloaded something, but canceled it from the notification. Now a notification with the headline "Downloads" and the file name below keeps popping up every half an hour or so, when Firfox is closed or in the background. I can't click on it and restart it.

So, I've been thinking about downloading the Firefox browser for Android but I am worried.

I saw this among the app permissions on Google Play Store: "download files without notification". And I am worried.

And I need to know:

- What files does Firefox download without notification?

- Why does Firefox download files without notification?

- When does Firefox download files without notification?

- Why and how should I trust an app to the have the ability to download anything it desires at anytime it desires without my knowledge or my choice to accept or decline?

Could you please help me and tell how this app is safe?

Is there any way to change file name before downloading?

As the title says, is there a way to edit file's name before downloading it? Any extension or anything? As in, e.g I'd like to download a photo but change it's file name … (lexoni më tepër)

As the title says, is there a way to edit file's name before downloading it? Any extension or anything? As in, e.g I'd like to download a photo but change it's file name before I do so, so I don't have to go into files app on my phone in order to modify it. (Sorry if it's easy to do and I just can't find it but I'm super new to Mozilla and used Opera Mobile before, which had that option, so I'm used to it)

phone reboots after downloading any file

After updating Firefox for Android, my phone started rebooting after downloading any file. This makes it very difficult to use the browser and I had to use Chrome tempora… (lexoni më tepër)

After updating Firefox for Android, my phone started rebooting after downloading any file. This makes it very difficult to use the browser and I had to use Chrome temporarily. The Crashes tab in About Firefox is empty. I tried to collect a logcat and uploaded it to Google Drive (maybe this will help somehow.): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kmdS5rTH3r0u09KLxeUDeY5U8r5xiEK1/view?usp=sharing. I hope this information is helpful in solving the problem.
