I suddenly got a message on my screen that my bookmarks and history were not available because another program and Firefox were trying to use the same application. I followed directions on how to determine the exact problem and cannot get anywhere with that. I then tried editing my profiles and ended up losing all but the main one, and there are very few bookmarks included with it. Would there be any way I can retrieve at least part of the files I have lost, especially my bookmarks? I thank anyone who can help me in advance.

My bookmarks are not working. Every time I try to click the star, nothing happens. I try to add bookmarks using ctrl d and nothing happens. This happened probably after an update from firefox (there is so many that I have to do constantly). I even tried restoring previous bookmarks, however it tells me unable to process the backup files. Ive even done "refresh firefox" "troubleshoot mode" and "clear startup cache" in the about:support area. Ive also reset my pc multiple times.

I would hate to have to use a different browser. PLEASE HELP FIX THIS

Dear Firefox Support Team,

My Mozilla Account was Accidentally Deleted Today and I'm Looking to Recover my Data (History / Passwords / etc.). Is There any Way to Do so?

All of my minimised firefox windows have disappeared. If I go to history and try to restore them, I only have today's windows listed. I can't go back to 2025! I can I recover my missing windows? Thanks and regards, Rob

I have lost all my 'Bookmarks' and have researched how to resolve, without any results. I still have Win10 but have signed up for another year or support. as you know, losing years of BM's is hard to replace. Any help would be 'GREATLY' appreciated. Thanks, Tony... [email removed]@yahoo.com

Hey guys, My friend got on my pc and shut it off without me looking and somehow when i opened it back up all my tabs(couple hundred) distributed between 3 windows were lost. I've tried all the usual recovery options by doing previous or session restore, its not popping up in recently closed windows as well, where i usually recover my sessions from if it does go wrong. Is there any other way where this data may be stored, to recover a session from 31st Dec 2025.

Would greatly appreciate any help :D

All my data that I had in Firefox is gone. I have been using Firefox for 3 years now and had bookmarks and accounts set up. Today I opened firefox and logged in and they asked for recovery key out of nowhere now all my data is gone. If I dont get access to my bookmarks and saved accounts I will be switching to a different browser.

PLEASE give me back my bookmarks, without being a f-ing programmer. Import does not work, no way to restore, feels like I am supposed to become an IT tech just to undo something an apparent update did to me.

all bookmarks are now missing. Firefox did an update recently when I restarted my desktop. I have gone through the forums and just checked the 'Places Database' when I pressed verify integrity I get the message:

so now what should I do??

Seit dem 25.12.2025 habe ich meine Lesezeichen und Passwörter, wahrscheinlich nach einem Update oder einer unbeabsichtigten Fehleingabe nicht mehr zur Verfügung. ich möchte meine Firefox-Version wieder auf den Stand vom 24.12.2025 zurücksetzen. Was kann ich tun oder kann man auch telefonisch Kontakt aufnehmen in deutscher Sprache?

My computer died when I had many tabs open. Some of them were important. I cannot get back into my old computer to recover them from there. It appears that sync was not enabled. Is there any way I can get them on my new computer?

I can actually see a list of the tabs. When I hit the hamburger icon, the first item is my account. At the bottom of my account is a heading “[username] on [device name]”. Underneath is a list of all my tabs from my last computer.

But I have to open them one by one. Is there any way to batch open these pages?

SUBJECT: Profile missing after update to 146.0.1 

After the last Firefox update (146.0.1), I can no longer access my profile that included bookmarks, history and passwords.  

After the update was done on 12/19/25, I was given the option to choose between my original profile and a newly created one. The next day when I opened Firefox, there was only one profile shown and my original profile was gone. I have read numerous fixes for this problem but nothing seems to work.

I have done the following to try to locate my missing profile to no avail. 1. I went to the Profile Manager but the only profile listed was the newly created one. 2. I didn't do a refresh so there was no "Old Firefox Data" folder to copy the data from. 3. Used about:Profiles, Again only the newly created profile was listed 4. I used ~Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles. Still no luck. 

Could my profile have been moved to another place or could it be hidden? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Wieczorem po zakońcaeniu korzystania z przeglądarki jak zwykle wyłączyłam. Następnego dnia postanowiłam go uruchomić i nagle wyskoczyło mi jakieś okienko profilu co zignorowałam bo dla mnie ta funkcja ejst bezcelowa. Przeglądarka się odpaliła ale już bez moich danych - rozszerzeń, historii, a co najważniejsze bez zakładek! Konto mam zalogowane ale nie potrafi mi tego jakoś przywrócić.
