I cannot access gmail on my desktop computer, although I can access on my laptop. I've phoned Norton and it's not my firewall. I deleted cache, cookies, recent history and still cannot access. The gmail site just keeps loading and loading and loading...

You can check the network.http.* prefs (network.http.proxy.keep-alive -> true) and reset all bold user set prefs to the default value via the right-click context menu > Reset.
