Why is there no warning on your front page that you are now elitist nad only allow Firefox to run onPCs which are less than 1 year old (or have graphics drivers odf that era) and how can I revert to a version which WILL work?
As a fan of Firefox I took your advice and updated to v4 only to end up with a spate of system crashes, culminating in graphics card being disabled! After researching your site I find that you are now elitist and only allow Firefox to run on PCs which are less than 1 year old (or have graphics drivers of that age) meaning that I must abandon Firefox or buy more hardware since there is no suitable driver for my Radeon x800GT card.

Try disabling Use Hardware Acceleration when available in Options > Advanced > General - under the Browsing section.
"only allow Firefox to run on PCs which are less than 1 year old(or have graphics drivers of that age)" is nonsense. Fx4 works perfectly well on XPs.
