
Thunderbird connection to server fails
When loading thunderbird a message appears that the "connection to the server" has failed. I am using Network Solutions as my domain and email server. This issue started on Feb. 12th 2025. Network Solutions has not been able to solve. Is it a recent thunderbired update problem. Older messages appear and am able to send but not receive current messages.

This is probably a misconfiguration issue, but there seems to be no way for us to know what the right settings should be. Looks like that's something you have to figure yourself at the website of your email provider. If you can obtain there a sheet stating what the mail server settings should be and post it here together with a screenshot of the account server settings you're using in Thunderbird, we may be able to figure what it is that you may have configured incorrectly…
