Dragging anything interactive in one tab opens new tab

I frequently use sites that allow reordering of items and things interactive. When I drag anything interactive in a webpage, it does complete that action (like reorder an item in a list) but then opens a new search tab and swaps to it.

Anyway to disable this? I can't seem to find a solution or option in the config for it.
