Firefox is slowing down my internet download speed and will not allow me to stay sighed in to email at att.net. I do not have these problems on Microsoft Edge

Firefox is slowing my download speed and as of the last two days I cannot stay signed in on my email account at the homepage "currently.att.yahoo.com. I have no such problem with the same homepage with Microsoft Edge. If you have a solution to these problems which I did not have for years please email it to me at [email removed from public]. In the meantime I will stay with Microsoft Edge as my browser of choice.
