Is the Chrome and Chromium the only browsers to natively support USB devices? Firefox can't do this ?

Hello ! I purchased an item from https://www.ledgerwallet.com but the provided apps works only with the Chrome browser (in fact these apps are just some extensions for Chrome and Android.) Normally I use only Firefox but I did an exception and I downloaded and installed Chrome. It was a nasty surprise to find that Chrome don't work and give this error: There is no Internet connection - DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET I checked and there is no problem with my ISP or my Internet connection is OK. I contacted the support of ledgerwallet.com about this issue and they wrote to me this: "Unfortunately we can't offer our applications on browsers other than Chrome and Chromium since these are the only browsers to natively support USB devices." I want to know if Firefox has the same features like Chrome and Chromium for Windows 7. Regards, A.C.
