Hi, I installed Thunderbird and now have a problem. When I click on a link in an email, I get the prompt: ‘Select an application to open the https link’. As options, I get various TB files in.exe or in folders. What should I do, please? Andrej O. (I donated to MOZILLA...)

When I delete a message from my inbox, all of a sudden all the e-mails vanish. Every folder is empty. Then I exit Thuderbird and run in it again, and all the messages are there, including the one I deleted. This started yesterday. It is frustrating. This is happening to everybody I know.

Hi, saw this msg the first time yesterday. I am on Debian with Thunderbird 115.15.0 (64-bit)

I get this msg at startup: <yellow triangle with exclamation mark> Alert from account <existing account name written here>: <some code with letters, numbers, punctuation> InvalidParameter id: <same code again>_CFR_1

I don't know if the <same code again> is specific to my email account, so I did not write that here. Can't find any post on this InvalidParameter id.

I did not reconfigure that particular email account or changed any config in Thunderbird, besides what regular updates bring.

I have removed the email account from Thunderbird and reconfigured it, same msg. I could recreate the email account on the hosting side, but before I do that I wanted to see if there is more info about this problem, to avoid with other accounts in the future, maybe there is something preventive I can do ...

Thanks for any idea.

I have problem while trying to import a .ics file into Thunderbird calendar. The file was exported previously from the same calendar, but when I attempt to import it back, I receive the following error message: "No importable items found in the file."

Here are the details of the problem:

Thunderbird Version: 115.12.2 (32 bit) Operating System: Windows 10 Steps Taken: - I exported my calendar entries to a .ics file. - I attempted to import the .ics file back into Thunderbird. - Upon importing, I encountered the error message "No importable items found in the file."

I have verified that the .ics file contains data by opening it in a text editor, and it appears to have calendar entries.
