After closing the browser, waiting for the process to die, and then restarting the browser, my authentication session is persisted. This is across a variety of application mechanisms (eg Shibboleth, application-specific). I didn't see mention of this in the release notes...

I believe this problem started occuring after I upgraded to v. 10.
