Restoring Firefox 34.0.5 bookmarks on a Mac Pro OS 10.6.8

Firefox 34.0.5 on Mac Pro OSX 10.6.8 unable to restore Bookmarks, although shown backups in Profiles/giw31s3m.defualt/bookmarkbackups folder – help please, thank you.

I switch versions of OSX to use different software – whilst running OSX 10.11.4 (El Capitan) yesterday, Firefox updated to 48.0.2.

Having switched back to OSX 10.6.8, zero bookmarks are available – trashed 48.0.2 – restored 34.0.5.

Tried to restore them manually from Profiles following the restore routine but unable to from the 15 archived backups.

Help please – thank you.
