Starting in Firefox version 116, you can import login and password information from a .csv (comma separated values) file. You can use either one of these methods:

Import from Firefox Settings

1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Settings (or Preferences, in some cases).Click the menu button and select Settings.
2. In the General page to the left, click on Import DataAccount and sync to the left, click on Import data under the Import Browser Data section.

   

3. Select Passwords from CSV file.

   

4. Select the .csv file that contains the login data you wish to import and click Open.

   

5. All set! Click Done to wrap up the import.

   

Import from Logins menu

1. Click the menu button to open the menu panel.
2. Click Logins and PasswordsPasswords.
   • The Firefox about:logins page will open in a new tab.
3. Click the 3-dot menu icon, then click Import from a File…

   

4. Select the .csv file that contains the login data you wish to import and click Open.
5. Click Done to complete the import.
