An error occurred during a connection to upl-upm.pushbuttonformula.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

As the title says, with both with https and http firefox displays this warning:

But no way to bypass it, trying to login to my ubiquiti edgerouter at http://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.1.1

What can i do?

I am getting more frequent "Firefox can’t create a secure connection to the server " messages. This isn't inherently an issue, but on most of them there is no longer a "continue anyway" button. I know your first response will be "It's for your safety." Well now, I'm a big boy, 58 to be exact, and I wear my big boy pants everyday. I am perfectly capable of deciding how much risk I'm willing to accept. This especially applies to sights I am familiar with and trust that suddenly trigger your warning for some mysterious reason. This is becoming a large problem for me and if there isn't a fix for it I may have to reconsider my use of Firefox.

When I try to search for something on Google using Firefox, I keep getting the message "cloudflare web-find.net has expired."

What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Apparently, I need to switch to Chrome, because I don't get it there!

UK Based Job board web site not loading on latest Firefox 15/02/2026

A Long trusted UK Based Job search site called Totaljobs is not loading since mid 2025, and 2 Firefox updates...

I am already restricted to Job searches and Totljobs was one of th top 3, not It does not load on my Firefox.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

My university website (brightspace) is blocked by "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead" and clicking advance does not allow me to continue. I was using brightspace when it suddenly became blocked and I have received errors stating it was an HSTS error to now an expired certificate. I have tried to restart Firefox and clearing the website from my history and clearing cache, but nothing worked so far. Accessing this website has only been an issue on my Firefox on my laptop. The website's servers is not having issues, my other devices can access it flawlessly, and using other web browsers on my laptop does not cause any issues. I would like not to switch my browser, so any help to accessing this website would be greatly appreciated

This is the message I get:

Because other users (including people who use Firefox) are able to reach this site with no problem, I hope someone can tell me what the issue might be. Thanks

If I try to log into my router at 192.168.1.1 I get a message that says "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead". I expect that, but when I click on the Advanced button it doesn't do anything. Works fine with Chrome, so not my router or anti-virus. ???

Windows 10 Firefox 148.0

All of a sudden almost every site I try to enter comes up with "Secure Connection Failed". This started happening on Friday, July 10th for the first time. I've read almost every article in the Firefox's community forums and tried multiple actions and nothing stops this. I don't know why this all of a sudden when it never did this before. I hope someone can tell me how to stop this from happening].

Dear Mozilla Support, I would like to ask about Firefox's plans regarding the recent changes affecting SSL/TLS certificates for websites hosted in Russia. As you may know, several international Certificate Authorities have announced that they will revoke or stop issuing trusted certificates for Russian domains. This may cause many legitimate websites to become inaccessible in browsers because their certificates are no longer trusted by the default root store. I understand that Mozilla places a strong emphasis on web security and maintaining a trusted certificate ecosystem. However, I would like to know whether Mozilla has considered any technical solution or mitigation for users who may need to access these websites. For example:

• Is Mozilla planning to provide any workaround or optional feature that would allow users to continue accessing such websites safely?
• Will Firefox receive any updates or patches related to this situation?
• Is the current recommendation simply to manually install additional trusted root certificates, or is there another supported approach?

I am  interested in understanding whether there are any official plans or recommendations for users affected by these certificate changes.

It is very annoying to not be able to have acces to my scholarship, my accommodation, or just my whole student services in general even if they are websites from the french government. I cannot bypass the mozilla security risk warning so I'm asking for some help here. the website is https://messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr/

it would be a great update to be able to go past the warnings in the future, being unable to do so forces users to switch of browser, especially when you cannot have acces to such websites which are essential for students
